"Inspiring Confidence Worldwide" The School for Scoundrels began in 1996 as a course offered to magician members of the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. Created and taught by Whit Haydn and his partner, Chef Anton, the School for Scoundrels is an eight hour workshop on the major sleight-of-hand street swindles Fast and Loose, Three-Card Monte and the Shell Game. This course taught the history and psychology, as well as the sleight-of-hand technique and its application to magic of these ancient scams. The Magic Castle's Magic University has offered this course to just twenty students every year since its inception. The School for Scoundrels Store was originally created to fill the need for high quality props for our students, and has since expanded to become a premier supplier of books, videos and props concerned with con games, pool hustling, and street, bar and restaurant magic for the professional magician, collector, gambling demonstrator and, of course, hustler.
